Billy Bane is tired of his singular destiny putting his two best friends in danger, so when a banshee comes to town and suspicious deaths soon follow, he decides to handle this problem on his own. It's a decision that nearly costs him his life because this banshee isn’t just wailing for the dead. She’s here for him.

Admitting that this might be a bigger problem than even he and his friends can handle, Billy calls in the warrior monks from the Order of Enoch. But things quickly go from bad to worse and Billy and his friends soon find themselves in a cursed and dangerous realm very far from home. There is only one way back and that is for Billy to finally accept who he is and challenge the power of an ancient god. If he loses, none of them will ever see home again.
