Hard to follow

The AI had no emotion, her voice was way to robotic and performance was a bit to chaotic and at times i had to go back multiple times to find out who was talking!

No character distinction with virtual voice

I do not like the use of virtual voice. It make following the characters and the story line more difficult. This story was enjoyable. Nice plot.

virtual voice narration is horrible!

i never ever leave reviews but the fact virtual voice narration is so bad! there's no human interpretation so you lose the context and emotion. its very monotone and the accents and inflections are in the wrong place.

Cute story. a bit hard to listen to

I really struggle with the AI voiced books. this one wasn't as bad as some, but pronounced some simple words wrong , which made sentences hard to understand at times, but overall , not a bad story.

Virtual Voice

I gave the virtual voice a try. It was very hard to follow the story line as there is no inflection or change in the voice from character to character. Additionally, some words were missed or mispronounced. I found myself backing up several times to figure out who was talking. It was not enjoyable.

Great storylines, well developed characters - lots of emotional baggage to unpack . Fatedl love will not be denied

Boring

I kept waiting for this book to get interesting. I finally gave up 1/2 way thru. All lust and no story. Very disappointing.

It was OK

The story was good, the relationship moved a little bit too fast. Even so, it was cute the way he felt so fast for her. The virtual reading was actually tolerable for Chloe’s character but for Cane it was hard to tell if it was his chapter being narrated because the same virtual woman’s voice was used. Not bad since it was free, but I wouldn’t pay for it.

Hate virtual voice

The story was good, but listening to virtual voice it’s difficult to get pulled into story due to no inflection in conversations - just drones on
