    The Artemis II crew will be returning to Earth later today after completing the first lunar mission in over 50 years. The mission took years of planning, preparation and scientific innovation. And one part of the plan, of course, was the menu!

    Chef Michael Slintak prepared and cooked all of the meals for the crew of the historic Artemis II mission the week before they left for space and he joined Anton from Florida.

  • Minister for Defence latest reponse to ongoing fuel protests

    The Government is to meet with representative groups of farmers, agricultural contractors, and the haulage industry later today to discuss the ongoing fuel crisis. There has been no word on whether those partaking in the fuel price protest will be in attendance or engage with said meeting.

    Minister for Defence Helen McEntee has said the activities of some protesters is “crossing into criminal behaviour”. Minister McEntee spoke to Anton this morning.

    The Israel Defence Forces last night announced that it began striking Hezbollah launch sites in Lebanon. It follows Benjamin Netanyahu's earlier statement, outlining that he instructed Israeli officials to begin negotiations with Lebanon "as soon as possible"

    It’s now day four nationwide protests over fuel prices, with widespread continued disruption on the country’s main roads and motorways.

    We have reporters around the country at these protests,Josh Crosbie, Newstalk reporter in Limerick ,Jamie O’Hara, Newstalk reporter in Macroom and Maggie Chambers, iRadio reporter in Galway, Ella Anderson on Dublin’s O’Connell Street.
