What a powerful and thought-provoking audiobook!
I found Never Kiss With Your Eyes Closed to be a quietly powerful and thought-provoking read. The book unfolds with a sense of emotional depth that draws me in, making me reflect on the complexities of relationships, secrets, and the impact of past choices. Author Darian George's writing has a poetic yet grounded quality, creating a world that feels both intimate and authentic.
What stood out to me most were the well-drawn characters. They were flawed, real, and deeply human! Their struggles and personal growth felt believable, and I appreciated how this book built its tension gradually rather than relying on dramatic twists. A Modern Day Romantic
This was such a refreshing read. The stories told were vivid, authentic, and told from such a unique point of view. The modern day romantic from a black man’s perspective.
