In the style of Dumb and Dumber & Naked Gun, this is a fun and funny farce in which you can easily imagine a young Jim Carrey as Danny. Dimwitted college student Danny Ellison becomes a people finder to get some real-life experience for his writing class and ends up entangled between two mob families that want what he has in his possession and will kill him to get it. The hapless Danny is clueless about his dire situation and keeps narrowly escaping attempts on his life in Cancun Mexico where he has been set up to be a patsy for a mob hit. Beautiful FBI agent Natalie is working the case and teams up with him before he blows the entire investigation. In a twist of fate, Danny must come to her rescue when a psychopath takes her hostage. Will he rescue the girl? Will he awkwardly kiss the girl? Will he get an A in his writing class?

God awful AI

The story was good, not the best I’ve read, but enjoyable. But it’s that AI voice that ruined it for me. The voice is pleasant enough, but there was no feeling. I could see where the funny parts would be, but the AI voice had no inflection. There was no humor, no sense of urgency in the action parts. I hop AI voice won’t become an every day thing.
