Resumen del Editor

What do an Internet scam, a conference for mystery writers, and "The Great Sausage Scandal" have in common? They're all connected to the latest adventure of Addy Zhuang, an employee of the real-life bank at 221B Baker Street tasked with answering all of the mail that mystery fans send to Sherlock Holmes.

In the sequel to Sherlock's Secretary, Addy, his true crime reporter girlfriend Zabel, and his friends Sanna and Jasper travel to Scotland in order to solve a missing persons case connected to a prop from the classic movie The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. Pretty soon, Addy and his colleagues are embroiled in a murder mystery, and the main suspect is a nobleman obsessed with one goal: hunting the Loch Ness monster!

Great book and fun series!

Nessie’s Nemesis is the second in the Sherlock’s Secretary series by Chris Chan. There is a bank located at 221B Baker Street and Addy Zhuang is the employee hired to answer all the mail sent to Sherlock Holmes. This book has Addy and his friends are in Scotland tracking a missing person and props from the movie The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes. The case gets too close for comfort. The series is a great twist on the Holmes mystery genre. The story is very well written, funny, full of Holmes material, quirky characters, and quick paced. The performance by Kevin E Green is absolutely great, as always. His narration breathes life into all the characters and it’s like watching a movie in your head. I’m sure you’ll love the book! I received a free audiobook code for my honest review.

love the way this series has taken with the mystery trope

good clean family mystery very unique twist in the way it uses Sherlock Holmes I love how they are so a lot of unique twists and this book so nothing's ever obvious but by the end of it you end up going oh that makes perfect sense and I get it can't wait for more hope this is a good long series amazing narration consistent voices never have to doubt who's talking or what character it is you can always tell just by the sound of his voice

Phenomenal Murder Mystery

Nessie's Nemesis is a very well written murder mystery that will keep you on a major thrill ride of suspects till the end. The story is fast-paced, dramatic, entertaining, and full of intrigue. This is my first book from author Chris Chan, but it will definitely not be my last. The characters and storyline are well written and truly do put you in mind of books about the famous Sherlock Holmes.
I highly recommend this book if you love fast-paced, murder mysteries with a bit of humor.
I received this book for free upon my request. The review that I gave written is my honest, unbiased opinion.

Sherlock Holmes in the now,

"Nessie's Nemesis" is a good, clean mystery, if a little slow. A modern-day Sherlock Holmes tale set in the present day, with traditional aspects of Holmes take on crime-solving. The absence of blood and gore, as well as explicit sexual content, makes this mystery suitable for a wide audience.

The story shares secret love, suspects, assumed identity and crime. There is meticulous detailing throughout, which I got bored of listening to at times but it is a crime investigation, you need to know the charcaters thought process.

I am also confused about the rudeness of every server in the story, why it was such a detail required in the story.

Overall the story delivered well, was a classic story telling and I'm sure enjoyable to readers preferring this genre.
