Appropriately Bold

As a 34 year veteran of full-time pastoral youth ministry, and as a man who struggled with pornography in my youth, I found this book to be filled with valuable insights into the real struggle at hand for both boys and girls.

Noah does a great job in navigating such a difficult topic. He breaks things down and addresses the issues in a helpful way without pulling any punches or softening the blow. I appreciate the quality of the questions at the ends of the chapters. I rarely use such discussion materials in books because I usually find them focused on some of the wrong things, unhelpful in actually generating transformative conversation/thoughts, or simply missing the intended age group. These questions are age insightful, focused, and are actually good for a broad range of ages.

There are too few resources of this caliber written directly to teens and I definitely plan to purchase a number of copies to have available for students. I am hopeful for them to be of use in some of our small group settings as well.
