It started like any other Christmas...

No more Elf on The Shelf for me!

I've got to say that I enoyed this more than Fright Manifest (and I loved Fright Manifest). I kept wondering if what I thought was happening was actually happening. Since I don't want to add spoilers to this review, I'll say I finished this all the way thru in one day ("one more chapter" and all that lol). I just needed an explanation whether supernatural or logical. I just had to know.

These Novellas of Don Campbell's are just the right length and the precise amount of creepy for me and I'm here for it :)

Side Note: the narration was chef's kiss

This was such a creepy little Christmas story told from a 9yo's pov and the narrator did a wonderful job with it

This is a very engaging and creepy horror/thriller novella! This story definitely has some unexpected twists and turns that I shocked me! I loved all of the suspense and spooky darkness this story brought out!
The holiday spirit is in full swing for 9 year old Meg, until one day her mom pulls out an old Elf doll. After the appearance of Jingles, things begin to change in the Turner household!!

The Elf is always watching…isn’t he?

I was lucky to listen to the audio version as the narrator did an excellent job!
This is my first book that I’ve read from this author and I’m excited to read more!! He did a great job with the writing and vivid imagery in the story! I really enjoyed it!

*This is definitely an entertaining novella for the holiday season!! I recommend grabbing the audio version for the full experience!*

Thus was a short super creepy listen. I blamed the wrong individual. I was shocked by the ending. Give it a try. The narrator did a great job bringing it to life.
