Nez Percé literally means "pierced nose" in French, but it is unclear whether the tribe ever used nose piercing as a form of ornament.

Not a book for listening

I am a lover of the Nez Percé tribe so I was really looking forward to learning more about their history and stories. This book has some interesting information, but I regret ordering it for an audio read instead of a physical read. The book would be easy to follow along, mind you there are Native American names which could catch you on pronunciation, but the reader was extremely monotones and boring to listen to. I caught myself having to return back to listen to sections again because my mind was so distracted.
