NO PLACE LIKE HOME

A small-town boy going through teenage angst escapes from his home after his first year of college. He joins the Navy to see the world, and, most of all, live his dream of working with computers. His first years after school are filled with decisions made to escape life's tedious realities. Each change he makes only results in unhappiness until he realizes that most of the problem lies with him, with his mindset. He gets out of the Navy, returns home, and settles down, overcoming romantic setbacks and a criminal investigation while building a business that supports himself, his family, and numerous local friends.
