NLP and Energy Healing is a comparison between different types of healing modalities. Whilst Neuro – Linguistic - Programming as the name says, mainly focuses on the retraining or reprogramming of the mind to achieve a desired outcome. NLP however has in recent times come under heavy fire as being (pseudo-science) from various scientific groups as lacking any real evidence of achieving the claims made by its inventors. The inventors legal battle about intellectual property rights did not help their cause either. NLP now is an unregulated, uncoordinated, everyone can do anything modality that seems to lack any credibility in professional circles. Energy healing on the other hand has many different modalities of which many have existed in secret for hundreds of years, while others have just in the last few decades seen the light of the day. Many of these modalities are organized and have a common teaching centre. Many of these healing modalities require a certain amount of study and the completion of an examination to be awarded a certificate. All alternative healing modalities are based on the transferring of energy from the healer to the patient. However, all use one and the same energy (Universal Energy) as there is only one creative- energy in the universe, the God Force. Some of the courses to become an accredited practitioner can become quite expensive. Here too, energy healing is no generally accepted by the mainstream medical profession despite evidence that healing takes place. In many circles it is still today seen as the work of the devil, yet in many churches healing is practiced as a form of lying on of hands, however there it is generally only administered by the church elders.
