An ok book!

This story is not the best but it isn't just horrible. However I would like to know how this story ends so I will listen to book 2. I'm willing to give this author another listen with a different storyline. I love the fact it's based in Vicksburg Mississippi, being I am from Jackson Mississippi! All in all this book helped me get through my work day so that's a plus!

I knew this book would be lack luster but really???? Where is the rest of the story? Is that all? I am so so puzzled…. Just horrible.

AI narration didn’t work

I didn’t like the AI narration. The voice was fine, but it lacked emotion and connection to the words. They were just words.

I liked the story, but I was annoyed with the friendship between Nadia and Jada. Are they really friends? The ending was a weird cliffhanger, but I’m pleased to know there’s a part two.
