I loved this book for the way it brings the stories of the Aztec gods to life. The beings depicted are not static or limited—they are cosmic, physically multidimensional, and fluid in form and identity. This portrayal makes them feel vast and powerful, existing beyond simple human understanding.

What stood out most to me is how these stories suggest a deeper, more advanced way of thinking about existence. The gods are not just characters in myths; they reflect complex philosophical ideas about reality, transformation, and the nature of being itself. Their shifting forms and roles imply a superior understanding of theoretical thought processes, long before modern philosophy tried to define them.

I can’t wait for the next book. I would love to read a similar work from this author exploring Mayan mythology and possibly the traditions and cosmologies of northern Indigenous peoples. Overall, this book doesn’t just tell stories—it invites the reader to think differently about consciousness, the universe, and how ancient cultures understood ideas that still challenge us today.
