In the continent of East Europe on the Balkan Peninsula there is a small country named Bulgaria, bordered on the east by the Black Sea, on the west by Serbia and Macedonia, on the south by Greece and Turkey and separated from Romania to the north by the Great Danube River. There is a mountain called Stara Planina (Old Mountain) or Balkan. This begins west of the Serbian border and continues to the Black Sea.This is where my story begins. The story of how I came to this country, the United States of America in Flint, Michigan.
