One of the best books I’ve read in a long time

The remarkable story of a young man with a strong family heritage but no country, caught in the aftermath of Kenya’s and India’s independence. Ram makes his way in London with resilience, pervasive gratefulness, and a compelling spirituality. This is a very timely story for our time, about a refugee who goes on to have a significant and positive impact on both his adopted country and familial homeland. Narrated by a master storyteller. This book is fabulous.
