Just okay.

William and Jess’s paparazzi chasing shenanigans meet a whole host of new complications as underhanded schemes by unscrupulous parties unfold in a backstabbing industry. While the story was interesting the romance between our hero and heroine got lost in the shuffle. It’s a pleasant enough story with some unexpected intrigue but it’s not the typical Blakely romance we have all come to know and love and the narration performances of Zachary Webber and Saskia Maarleveld reflected the difference.

So much better than the first part.

I felt like there was a missed opportunity to dive a little deeper into the eating disorder issue, but overall the 2nd part was much more satisfying than the 1st.

it did not end the way I thought it would

from the minute the Hero spoke of his status my mind went to a certain ending turns out the author decided to give us something more original than the obvious and I enjoyed finding that HEA in this duet.

Enjoyable and quick read. This is the conclusion. To the duet and the better of the two. Loved the narrators!

Did I have any doubt Lauren wouldn’t make the second book of this duet a smashing success, heck no!
You don’t lose any of the sass, the charm or the chemistry it really is a perfect complement to book 1.

If you want to get lost in an intriguing love story this series is for you I promise you there isn’t a dull moment and you will be happy you gave it a shot.

Again the narration is just right for these characters, it really is a talent of the author to give us the right narrators to give the characters their own voices.

Not your typical Lauren Blakey story but just as entertaining and enjoyable. This book picks up right where the first one left off. It was intriguing, entertaining, with a beautiful ending. I absolutely enjoyed everything about this story.

I really enjoyed this book. this author has made all of these books totally addicting.

Different but really entertaining.

As stated by other reviewers, not Lauren Blakely's usual fare, but I really liked it in the end. Also this is book 2 in a two book duo which was a bit annoying. As a rule I never bother reading a book when I have to buy another one to finish the story. But, luckily I could borrow both books for free on Amazon Escape - such a treat. Anyway, this was a great story with humour, intrigue, romance and a sweet HEA. The narration was excellent.

Absolutely perfect

I enjoyed this continuation of My Sexy Rival. Twists and turns. Such a fun story with just enough steam. Original storyline that tugs at your heartstrings. It was a perfect little listen. The narrators were perfect. Zachary was sizzling.
