First of all, stop using AI to read audiobooks! The monotone, pauses that shouldn’t be there, and mispronunciation are too annoying!
I’ve never read a book about the projects like this and IMO it’s painting a ridiculous picture of projects being a great or happy place to grow up in.
I grew up at the same time written about in this book and my family was middle class and we NEVER would have had the money to go to Disneyland. What kind of projects were these?!?!?
