My Friends is a beautifully told story of lives intertwining. I loved every second of it. You know a book is special when it moves you to tears after just introducing the characters. It’s a testament to Backman’s gift for placing the reader right inside the story. As with the rest of his books, I know I’ll carry this one with me for years to come, with absolute fondness. The narration was the perfect complement to a masterly crafted story.
