Now imagine the very difficult decision by Rene’s parents to send he and his younger brother to the United States through Operation Pedro Pan when they were just 14 and 12 years old. They thought it would be temporary, maybe a few months, but now 60 years later Rene’s story is told by his son, Tony Ojeda.
