Nice sweet ending

Overall it was a nice story with nice narration but I had a hard time understanding the conflict between the construction team and the fossil team. I occasionally found the MCs a little frustrating but overall I enjoyed the story and it’s sweet conclusion.

Not great, not terrible.... really drags in places and is equal parts predictable and far-fetched.

What a fun different read. It had an interesting story line and a few twists along the way. Love J P’s stories!

Blue Collar Meets The Scientist

When I read the blurb of this book , I expected something else than what I got ....and I mean in the good way.

Story is about two men Ethan and Mark. Mark is a well respected and talented Archeologist , who has partial muscle atrophy of the legs, due to polio . Ethan is a construction worker who feels carries the world on his shoulders.

They are different as night and day. Their jobs make them rivals and at odd with each other . Yet , there is something between them that it can be denied.

This is a light-hearted audiobook but at the same time it is not, as it deals with very heavy subjects , not directly to the heroes but to people the heroes care about . Do not worry , it has a very swoony epilogue and a HEA.

I liked it yet it took me awhile to figure out where the story was going.

The story is a 3.5 stars but I think it deserves a half star to make it 4 ; because you don't see many heroes like Mark . His handicap did not stop him . He never felt sorry for himself or made excuses. Thank you J.P. Oliver for writing a book of two completely , everyday ordinary heroes, it was refreshing and different audiobook.

Narrator: Austin Jay reading was good and easy to follow. His Southern accent was spot on , I should know , I live in Atlanta, Georgia . I only wish his narration of the sexy times sounded more passionate and less monotonous.

biases and prejudices

Sean made me so angry! more angy than Ethan's co workers. I did have a good laugh when those coworkers reacted to to the sounds inside the trailer! lol. And the icing on the cake was their petition to Ethan!!! I loved the turn of events and how things ended up. Warm and fuzzies!! The narrator did a good job with the voices and expressions.

Story comments: Nice easy Sunday listen, it requires the listener to overlook some technical inaccuracies, but overall an enjoyable story with good pace and some realistic challenges dealt with in an engaging way. Good start to the series and I look forward to more,.

Narrator comments: Austin Jay did a good job on the narration, I would have liked a little more emotion in some places, but it's only a minor critique and didn't pull me out of the story.

Sweet Enemies To Lovers

This is a sweet enemies to lovers story of Mark and Ethan. Well written and developed with some angst and twists to keep you entertained. The narrator did a good job with the differentiation of the characters and with the portrayal of the story. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook.

I really, really liked this one

I have read this author a few times now and this is my favorite book by her (him?), by far. Probably because it’s long enough to establish an relationship with the MC’s.

Amazing story and amazing narration. And I loved the pranks. Left handed spoon 😂

Great Book

This book was awesome, it was fast paced and hard to stop listening to this book. The narrator did an incredible job with this book.
