Unique

The story is a cute little unique paranormal mystery. I liked the story but the narrator did not do it justice. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition.

What happens when a Ghost Comes Back to Life

This next book in the My Blind Date series has its own twists and turns including how the young woman comes back to life. Being from a former time takes, means that she has to come to terms with the current time and all the changes that have occurred.

Another great book by this author. Looking forward to more in this series and by the author.

Ghosts

Interesting listen. Cora, is the ghost whose story we find out at the beginning and now she is residing as a ghost in her family bookshop. Cora gets a second chance at life, but it is not easy. They need to solve the mystery behind her death. This book is engaging with plot twists and an intriguing mystery. Overall it is a cute story, I recommend you read it. I enjoyed the narration it helped you understand what the characters were going through. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I wondered how some dates a ghost. Now I know. Very creative. It would be nice to hear a story about the detective’s Allen experience.

While this is #5 of a currently 6 book series, this contemporary cozy paranormal mystery would work well as a standalone. Though the characters are ghosts, zombies, witches and paranormal, they are charming community minded citizens of cute small town. Well narrated with distinct characterizations.

Interesting

Beverly Barnes powerful witch, matchmaker extraordinaire and bookshop owner has a ghost. Or rather she inherited the shop from her ancestor Clara Barnes who is now a ghost. She was murdered and now drifts aimlessly trying to figure out why she hasn’t moved on. Until one night in desperation she makes a wish to not be alone and suddenly she is alive again. All Cora wants to do is live, but Beverly is worried. After all how is she alive again? Did someone bring her back, if so who and why? And so their quests begins. Beverly needs to find answers. Unfortunately for Cora whomever raised her has plans for her so pretending to be normal and not thinking about anything isn’t going to work. She, Beverly, Sophia, her husband Jacob and Detective Beckett Dawson must work together to find the witches or warlocks behind this and solve the mystery that is Cora.
A twisty turny plot with some shocking surprises about Cora’s life, death and rebirth for lack of a better term.

Paranormal romance

My Blind Date Is a Ghost by Daphne Bloom is a wonderful comedic paranormal romance. Kristen Saburn did an amazing job with the narration. The story is entertaining, romantic, funny, comedic, engaging, and more. My Blind Date Is a Ghost is the fifth book in Love Is Blind series. Cora was a ghost who somehow is alive now. A matchmaker matches Cora with a detective who wants to help Cora with finding out how Cora is alive. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly recommend.

I like the story

The story line is good but the audio is very noisy. For me I really enjoyed the story part of this book, it kept me interested. On the other hand the noise in the audio was very distracting to me personally. Lots of echo and noises, the narrator is okay just needs a better recording setup.
