I came home to start over…not to find a grumpy, gorgeous man sleeping in my bed.

Meadow Grove was supposed to be a pit stop. Regroup after my career tanked. Maybe rekindle things with my high school sweetheart. Simple.

Until I unlock Aunt Barb’s cabin and find Luke. Grumpy, broody, annoyingly hot Luke—taking up space in my bed like he owns it.

Oh, and did I mention we had a one-night stand right before I left for college?

And now I’m stuck between the life I thought I wanted—and the man I can’t seem to resist.

I would give this 2.5 stars

I’m not opposed to virtual readers but this one sounded to robotic.

The story could have been good, unfortunately it felt like a teenage girl wrote the story. The character development was really bad. The whole thing with her trying hook up with her high school boyfriend with marriage aspirations was downright weird. And his attitude after sex just wasn’t realistic either, not if he really was supposed like her.

I’d like to see another author take this storyline and do something good with it. Definitely has potential.
