Great characters, interesting mystery... made me hungry!

This book was a delight from start to finish. The mystery kept me engaged, but the real standout was the cast of warm, quirky, and believable characters. The narrator did a wonderful job bringing them to life with distinct voices and an inviting tone.

The mushroom festival setting was especially fun and so vividly described that it honestly made me hungry. I could almost taste the mushroom tacos!

A cozy, character-driven mystery with charm, humor, and enough intrigue to keep you fascinated. On to the next book in the series!
