About the Author - Daniel Byram
After retiring from a twenty-three year career in law enforcement, Daniel focused his attention on various endeavors including teaching college classes, searching for lost treasure, developing intelligence analyst training for the government, raising horses, conducting historical research, working in the corporate world, launching a technology company, and boating off the southern California coastline. His police career focused on hunting habitual offenders and fugitives, running covert operations, and providing high liability training to law enforcement officers. He rose to the rank of Lieutenant before retiring with honors. Years of undercover work provided him with a unique perspective on the underground street culture. He is very familiar with that world, lending to the development of his fictional characters. Daniel's interests include watch collecting, sprezzatura, boats, guns, cars, horses, and coffee.
