Murder, Magic, and Mousse
Meg is out with her fiance, Connor, when he gets a call. They rush out from their dinner and arrive at a house where yells were heard. When Connor knocks, he hears steps heading away from the door. Both he and Meg pursue and find the suspect in the back yard. As Connor pulls his gun and tells her to stop she turns and Meg recognizes the woman as a customer she had that morning. When Connor shots to the left to stop her she uses magic to send the bullet back towards Connor. Meg jumps in and saves him while the woman/witch escapes. Now the chase is on but will Meg and Connor be able to overcome the wicked witch's spells?
Stephanie Quinn is a wonderful narrator whose soothing voice brings Meg to live as well as her friends.

Great Read
Murder, Magic, and Mousse was a good read by Amelia Morgan. Meg has powers as a witch and has always used hers for good. But not all witches are like her. There is an evil witch who just arrived in Enchanted Bay and they're looking to exact revenge. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

A well-written short read from a very good author
Murder, Magic, and Mousse (Kindle Edition) (Enchanted Bay Witch Cozy Mystery Book 13), my eighth short read/listen from author Amelia Morgan. Another well-written & enjoyable, a cute, clean cozy mystery. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Stephanie Quinn as I have in all books narrated by her. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author and since I own other books by her it will be easy. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
