Icky is an Australian gold miner who encounters cantankerous contraptions, wild animals, harsh environment, weather and fellow miners while seeking a fortune in gold.
Icky soldiered on through the exhaustion into the 4th day of production and he wasn't sure if the gold output was actually diminishing or if he was becoming too bleary-eyed to accurately measure the weight.
He rested for an hour to gather his thoughts and re-measured everything.
The flow of gold was unfortunately slowing down.
“No! It can’t be slowing down! More! I want more!” he raved to himself.
By the end of approximately the 4th day, at the 97-hour mark, he weighed his gold and estimated his profits at $96,890.
Roo-boy got his name from his love of eating kangaroo meat – raw, as jerky, cooked, alone or with other meats or vegetables. It didn’t matter how the kangaroo was prepared; he loved it.
Crockie obtained his name from his love of crocodile meat; as long as he could remember, he had always enjoyed eating the stuff.
The night before every trip out to the wilderness, Icky spent with an old Indigenous Australian woman named Lowitja O'Donoghue, playing chess, checkers, poker, monopoly or whichever game she wanted to play.
She would occasionally talk about her estranged twin sister Nevaeh, with whom she was currently feuding.
As Icky spastically ran, he tripped on an unseen root and fell headlong on the ground, with his face hitting another root.
Icky heard something and looked up to see a figure in the shadows holding something.
It looked like a crossbow!
He instinctively reached for his crossbow, which was always loaded and cocked, ready to be fired.
