Virtual Voice Ruins a Good Story

This is a cute book with an appealing main character. However, it is read by "virtual voice," and the result is appalling. It completely ruined the experience for me and I will never buy another book with this ridiculous, monotoned "voice." How this was released is beyond me, and the people responsible should be ashamed of themselves. AI can be useful but until it learns to "speak" like a human being, this is a terrible use of it. Imagine the voice of your GPS reading a novel and you will know exactly what you're in for. Awful.
