Third, for yankees and other foreigners who know the south only through redneck jokes, it gives a true and rare window into how things actually are, more or less. And fourthly, of course, it is written by Norman E. Morrison in his unique style which more and more people around the world are coming to crave. This is a mystery tale in the Cowchip/AL series of uniquely written books, always a quarter turn out from what you expect.
