Dear You, Here we are. Together. For whatever reason: only God knows. Maybe you heard me speak. Maybe a well-meaning friend gave you this book. Maybe you even bought it. I may not be sure how you discovered this book, but I am sure of this: If you choose to read my scribbles, you will learn a bit of my story. It’s a tragic story, but one that’s buoyed by unexplainable joy. And my story has now interwoven with your story. Can I just tell you something? My brother’s final social media post, before he struggled to take his last breath this side of heaven, assured his friends and family of one essential truth: Jesus loves you. And He surely does. No matter what. Life sucks sometimes, as we are all aware. I have no explanation for that fact, other than the brokenness of this world. Friends, we are part of the broken. But there is hope.
