Resumen del Editor

Excerpt: "The United States was desperate to reassert its global power after the embarrassment of Sputnik. In fact, the Russians were showing up the United States in all sorts of ways. First human-made satellite, the first man in space, first man in orbit, the first woman in space, first dog in space. The list goes on. If the United States tried something as daring as going to the Moon and failed, the repercussions would be enormous."

Logically presented...but

Initially I was compelled to advance into the books line of question answer. The author presented several questions, i.e.( the Van Allen belt...ect.) that I myself had posed knowing the present day issues against the possibility of navigating out of neat near earth orbit, but then the author makes a blanket statement about the 911 impossibly of anything other than terrorist involvement. A ridiculous statement considering im listening to 40 year old clips of a bogus moon landing that fooled the majority of the world. 911 was as politically necessary in this era as the moon landing was in the cold war era. it allowed the establishment of US bases of operation within the middle east that had been sustained as a necessity by the Project for the new American century study years before. This publication pronounced the need for a new Pearl Harbour like incident in the Middle East to produce a wave of nationalism within the United States... guess what it did. and we have currently been at war for over 18 years there producing nothing but taxation and explotational. while I agreed with your former logic on the moon landing I find your blasse dismissal of the possibility of conspiratorial involvement in 911 as anything other than terrorist as a myopic view of current political practice.
