Firsttime visitor to Montpellier

Most of all we enjoyed hearing of smaller towns in the region and what makes them attractive.. We particularly like to hike - and in fact will be taking a self-guided hike in Gorge du Tarn - and hearing descriptions of short hikes and historic sites has intrigued us.
