Ben Sage decides to leave for the newly created Montana Territory after his family is killed and their ranch in Buckhorn Texas is destroyed during the Civil War. Ben arrives in Sutters Creek Montana Territory to seek new land for a new ranch and gold to pay for his new start up cattle ranch called the Circle-T. In his quest for his goals he finds romance with the daughter of the wealthy owner of the Circle O Ranch. Through his friendship with Frank Murphy owner of the Circle 0 his is introduce to the Sioux Chief Thunder Cloud who allows his to start up his news ranch on Sioux land called Valley of the Gods under certain conditions. Ben and his partner Jack a long time boyhood friend find trouble and gun play from the outlaw gang named Blackbeard who want his land for gold and their death which result in Gun action and death by gun fire.
