The virtual voice was terrible

I am admittedly a diction and language snob. I am driven so mad when errors in a text could be eliminated if someone simply took the time to edit their work. unfortunately you need a third party editor to find errors in the misuse of idioms and incorrect wording. if you're the author and you're editing it yourself you don't realize that you don't know the correct word or the real expression.
This book really needs an editor's touch.
And the many errors were made all the more irksome by the high-school student (virtual voice) that voiced it. It sounded exactly like a student reader. Which during the explicit scenes was a bit disturbing.
ALL that being said there were a few moments of brilliance in the story, but I won't be listening to another one of these.
But, get an editor and keep writing!

Great story!

The story was great and the voice was great. There were a couple of instances were it’s sounded a bit robotic that why I gave it 4 starts on performance.

storyline is good

narrator is 2 monotone and doe not emphasize emotions of characters during story very well.

I really enjoyed the storyline! I’m a long haul driver and the story kept me entertained!

Wait for it…

The audio performance seemed a bit off. There were a few words or phrases that were stressed wrong, wrong enough I stopped and tried listening to them at a few different speeds to try to figure out what the native speed was. It sounded better at 1.05 or 1.10, but not perfect. Maybe whoever edited it made some mistakes? It. just needs a work.

The magic system is a Cultivation hybrid that I think was striving for making something old something new. If I continue listening to his series, I’d hope the author spends more time developing this, because I think there is room for growth.

Magic items seem pretty rare, but MC is gifted a couple of them as if they were common enough to be lying around unused.

MC seems… not weak, but dependent on others to save the situation, usually right out of the blue. This might be because this is aiming for serialization. I don’t know.

Other characters seemed one dimensional.

Altogether slightly above average, but only just.

Orc porn?

The book was OK, until we got into a very detailed and graphic X-rated porn scene, which really didn't seem necessary. If you want to write porn, then advertise it as that

I haven't finished it yet but it's really good so far and hoping for the second book.

Sensible storytelling

Finally! A writer with common sense. The MC is not a whiny little bitch with tons of powers but complains about everything, makes a big deal about high morals, use colloquial references foreign to the realm, or talks about how they do things back home. Bro, you ain't in Kansas anymore! I know lots of writers out there have to go through a lot to bring these stories to life and aren't paid nearly enough. That's not acceptable. The industry needs to do a better job

Tedious voice, novice story

Virtual voice is tedious to listen too. Complete lack of natural inflection like humor, fear, passion, etc. it’s not exactly monotone but it’s so repetitive and consistent in inflection, regardless of the mood of the story that it may as well be monotone.

Virtually Uninspired

Story is bland but the abscence of a real human narrating, it is just boring, flat, and not worthy of listening.
