Why things cost more

This is why groceries keep jumping but my paycheck doesn’t. This short audiobook explained the boom-bust thing in plain words—how money supply gets pumped up then yanked back. The part about leaving the gold standard made sense why stuff feels cheaper for the rich but not for me. Listened during my commute and kept pausing to tell my wife random facts at dinner. Doesn’t fix prices but at least I’m not clueless when the news talks recession anymore.

Eye-opener !

This may be a relatively short listen but it concisely sums up the nature of money and it’s evolution over time. Opened my eyes to government “usery” and inflation being a veiled tax.
Questions the future of capitalism

Great insight!

Coming from a cultural that use credit cards to make purchases and pay bills, it’s wonderful to have an audiobook explain in detail of our currency awareness and the financial disaster that has been created by the government. This is a great start to understanding money
