Mom's Turn

Carl Vinton is the principal of a high school in rural Arkansas. It also happens at his daughter is an 18-year-old senior at the school.

But one issue that he always has to deal with is that his wife Jackie has a hard time saying no to their daughter Beverly. And that includes times when Beverly wishes to engage in some mischief that both she and her mother know Carl would not approve of.

But on the night of a crucial school board meeting, when Beverly and a close friend, another 18-year-old senior, decide to cover a couple of trees outside the building with toilet paper, there are unexpected ramifications to develop.

It turns out that some key community members are in attendance at the meeting, only to come out at the end of the evening to find their cars plastered with sticky tissue by wind and rain. Not only that, but the school grounds are covered with the stuff, providing a great embarrassment to the school administration.

But the maintenance chief for the school activates a security system, and the next day Carl Vinton is provided with a film of his daughter and her friend committing the act. He immediately decides that the fitting penalty is for them to leave school that day with some difficulty in being able to sit down.

But he also puts two and two together, and realizes that his wife, Beverly’s mother Jackie is in the thick of the deed. And he decides that it is time to bring her partnership in their daughter’s mischief to an end in a most fitting manner.
