Space is cruel and lonely. But that is the least of Captain Farda Eryurt's problems. A homicidal psychopath is stalking her family back on Earth. Only she knows, and she can't tell anyone! Stranded at an asteroid mining station, alone and without communication, she must save her family.

But space and distance are too much, and now the psychopath has given her an ultimatum. Kill herself within a week, or her son dies. So now, time is against her as well. Farda is resilient and resourceful, but the momentum toward disaster seems unstoppable.
