Star-crossed, fated or forced mates???

Mohegan: Dark Rider (Mated by Magic, Book 4) by Stella Marie Alden is a very compelling story. Olivia and Mohegan thought to live their lives mate free. How wrong they were! A twist of forced fate has them inexplicably drawn together forever, much to their dismay and for a variety of reasons.
The plot is very engaging and enthralling because of the magical elements as well as the characters themselves, their interactions, mind-blowing chemistry and struggle with their life-long connection.
Overall, an enjoyable book that I enjoyed listening to as well.

Mohegan and Olivia

This final book in the series takes a detour from stories about warrior witches and instead gives the reader a peak into the lives of the healer witches. Supporting character Olivia, the healer for the Fialko brothers, meets her match with Mohegan. Mohegan may be a healer, but he's as tough as they come. As a member of the Guild, he acts a bit like a police officer finding the bad guys and stopping them. He's also got a unique ability that lets him sense danger and directs him to where he needs to be. This talent brought him to Olivia just in time to save her life. These two have a strong connection that's further complicated by a love spell, and their stubbornness to remain single. And while their romance sizzles, it's the action and mystery in this book that really draws you in.
The narrator really does a fantastic job bringing this story and characters to life through her use of emotion and animation in her voice. I've enjoyed listening to her narrate this entire series.

Mohegan

I so loved listening and reading this book. Olivia and Mohegan were made for each other. Both grew up feeling the lost of a parent or parents and depending on no one but themselves. Then a magic spell draws them together only to discover that they have truly fell in love and live without each other. I have to say that although, their communication sucks, they allow their auras to speak for them. Above all their stubbornness allowed them to see the truth to create a different path for themselves.

great paranormal read

I received this book for free for a honest review.  I loved the characters and storyline.  it flowed very well and held together.  The narrator did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life.  reccomend

I hope this isn't the last book in the series!

I offered to review this audiobook because I am such an an avid reader but also almost exclusively audio due to my schedule. Because of this, I can be critical of narrators. Especially when books have a single narrator required to speak with different voices for multiple characters. Most cannot do it without having some errors where they use the wrong 'voice' for the wrong character. I am a true believer in the fact that a bad narrator can destroy a great book and have turned away several books with good ratings because of just that. The narrator in this book did a great job, so I was able to listen to the book without issue.

Next is the story. I am not one to give a lot of specific story details since I feel you should read the story for that, and in this case, you won't be disappointed. This is book 4 in a great paranormal romance series, which has great characters and an interesting storyline that make you want to keep listening until the story is over. The intrigue, suspense, and romance found in books 1 - 3 continues in book 4. I am hoping there is a book 5!

Dark brooding

this is so deliciously sexy it got My pulse pounding heart rate picked up toes curling couldn't wait for the next word what a fantasy come true thoroughly enjoyed every single book in the series
The narration was fabulous brought the story to life and made all my fantasies
come to life.
This was definitely a 5-star raid I thoroughly enjoyed!!!

Mohegan

Wow I was so glad that Olivia got her chance and a HEA. In a strange twist of fate everything is going to work out right for her. Mohegan well alpha male he is but he does risk himself to solve the mystery that has drawn him to Olivia. Now I’m curious if there is going to be any more books I this series as book 3 left me curious about the portals. Guess I’ll find out soon enough.
And you could forget the performance by Simone she has done a wonderful job narrating this series.

A lot of entertainment.

A lot of action. A lot of steam. A lot of magic. A lot of angst. Wonderful characters. Unique storyline. Even a little bit of funny! Very entertaining.
I listened to audio version. Was performed very well.

Fun & Steamy

Mated by Magic is a fabulous series. Mohegan: Dark Rider, is well-written with an engaging plot and captivating characters. Olivia, the healer for the Fialko brothers, finally meets her match with Mohegan. Olivia and Mohegan have a very charged chemistry, it's passionate and full of steam.

The narration by Simone Gayuma is brilliant. She does an excellent job of bringing the characters, their personalities, emotions, and entirety of the story to life. Overall, this is a fantastic listen; I highly recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
