I was torn

the story is good I like listening. and want to hear more. the narration is good. the MC is a dick he is powerful and quite special and wow he knows it. he us given noble qualities like helping people and disliking bullies but if you disagree with him you better run, even his women. my way or leave. back story was the best mma fighter. he lives up to typical alpha male steroid pumped fame backed dick sports star. shame the story is good

narrators on point. author not so much

3 or 4 sex scenes eh. 3 chapters snuck from the next book giving about 45 minutes extra just like in the first book. seems like a rip off to me. you end up paying for 3 chapters of each book twice. mc has no real development. he goes in like op bad ass. and the only people he can't beat are those at the peak and they force him to do something other than train or fuck. he has no personal motivation other than training fucking or helping those he can. no real major long term other than get stronger. which means there is no depth.

Good story and narration!

John and the gang are back, and things continue to heat up! Not content with viper rank he sets his sight on mantis, and must Sprint through his cultivation in training to keep up with his goals - all while rescuing villagers from bandits and monsters!

Erin and Robert do a great job with the narration!

greatness in a bottle

as Jon continues his new life in another world he begins to see before the curtain more and more. as he tries to cope with the happenings around him, he must still deal with his fighting prowess

Hung in there like a dingleberry.

Alright, first book was ok, but female narration sucked. This time it was slightly better, but have come to have no love for the MC. Usually I'd love to live through the lives of the MC as someone I'd like to be. This guy on the other hand is narcissistic incarnate to the point of annoyance, rude and disrespectful, ungrateful to many that went out of their way to help him in the beginning, hypocritic in his words of love and telling others what to do. To be honest one of the most satisfying parts of the book was the last hour when he gets a dose of what he should get.
PS to the author you know you wrong for Ronda, but you're trying to make it up to us with monster girls.....this is acceptable.
