Bookstore owner Holly Sanders could never imagine herself with the small town "golden boy" Brian Hathaway, a widower and father of a preteen daughter with spina bifida. Holly gets to know his daughter through their mutual love of books, and eventually, Brian sees Holly's subtle beauty, her kindness toward his daughter, and something he can't explain that makes him weak at the knees. It takes a scheming preteen and some holiday cheer to have these two thinking that there just might be a love connection. In this contemporary Christian romance, the hero is concerned that the dynamic of his family life will change, but his daughter sees change as good. No matter how much Holly resists decorating for the holidays, Brian's daughter Chloe has her heart set on a Christmas romance between her dad and her favorite bookseller.
