Vietnam, 1969. A female defector reaches South Vietnam with startling news. Major Nguyen Mai-Lan, a senior officer of the ‘People’s Army of Vietnam,’ has witnessed scores of American prisoners, listed as MIAs, being held in a remote area in the far northwest of the country.
