When PC Sally Burton is called to the scene of a routine suicide it seems like the perfect case for her – routine. Sally’s no high-flier, just a regular bobby working in a small local force on the Yorkshire coast, yet it doesn’t take her long to suspect that the woman, lying dead at the bottom of a cliff, didn’t jump at all.
