I LOVED this book! A great quick read to start my spooky season reads! Anna is a senior and likes a cute football player. While on a date she goes to the local haunted house and she thinks she hears the ghost of Mary Mack. This book is a great mix of historical fiction and a cozy spooky vibe. Great for anyone 13+

The fun concept of the story, turning an old nursery rhyme into an actual story

Fun, cozy paranormal history perfect for anyone I would say 12+. I enjoyed the historic elements of the story and the sweet love story of Mary and her fiancé Benjamin who didn’t return from battle. I also enjoyed the budding romance between Anna and Boston. This is the first book in a 2 part series so I can’t wait to find out what happens Miss Mary and if Anna can solve the mystery.

Loved it!

I just loved the characters and the story. I am very excited to read the second book.

Great cozy and spooky read

Loved the story line for Miss Mary and the whole
Character development and the world of cannon falls! Such a easy and cozy read. The narrator did an excellent job of differentiating the different characters!!

An okay YA romance w/ paranormal elements

It was alright but I expected something much spookier. Not enough Miss Mary for me.
