This type of narration does not translate well for emotion. It was hard to get through. I liked the story but the monotone narration made me want to quit listening several times

AI narration lacks luster

The story itself was interesting but the use of virtual voice takes away from the overall experience. If this is the new way of audiobooks I’m not sticking around. The actors who narrate are what bring the stories to life. This is garbage.
