A little disappointing

I loved another book I purchased by these authors and read by the same narrator. However, I was not as impressed with this book. The narrator portrayed the 7 yr old boy as a 4 yr old. The story line took an "are you kidding me?!" turn. Overall, the story seemed rather disconnected.

Witty

This was a very witty, fun book. At first there were holes in the story but then after the beginning of the book it became more cohesive. The narrator did a good job.

Fun!

Great fun read! Worth the time and credit.

This voice doesn't match the character

I knew going in to this book that it would be about the shallow, designer label life of a 40 something New Yorker and I was perfectly ready for that. Unfortunately, this particluar reader doesn't inject the right personality into these characters. It could have been a light, funny, beach read had I grabbed the book instead. Interesting to read the reviews on Amazon to see the difference.

It was a fun one

The first 15 minutes were a bit slow. I had a hard time getting to know the main character. But as the book progressed I really enjoyed here. The other characters were hilarious and I wanted to hear more about them.
But all in all it was a good light book.
