As the Dauntless begins to rewrite itself, reality fractures. Mimmi is forced to confront what he once was and what he might become. But Unity is no longer the only force watching. Something older waits in the dark, and it doesn’t want Mimmi to return. It wants him to evolve.

Pursued across space and within his own mind, Mimmi faces impossible choices. Rejoin the collective he abandoned, accept the rising force that offers power without restraint—or remain fractured, choosing a future neither fully alien nor fully human.
