Dastardly Villain

Wow, people are nutters. I do enjoy a dastardly villain. This story was better paced than the first in the series with a few unexpected twists and turns. Part of the Kindle Unlimited catalog.

Second book

This is the second book by Melina Leigh I have listened to and enjoyed. On to the next.

Pretty good

This is an interesting story. There are a lot of things going on, but it is definitely worth listening to.

Something for everyone

Well constructed storyline and characters. This author knows how to blend different genres together to make a read it appeals to mystery, thriller, romance readers. Example of her refining her skills for her next series.

Enjoyable but farfetched

I love psychological thrillers and true crime and Melinda Leigh is one of my go-to authors. While enjoyable, this story was farfetched and truly a work of fiction because the storyline was unbelievable and unrealistic. That being said, the story was a good continuation of the first book in this series (Midnight Exposure). Good narration.

Christopher Lane nails it

This is a well-crafted and in many ways touching love story with a heaping helping of human sacrifice and murder. Christopher Lane is such a good narrator!

slow start

I didn't find it as good as some of previous books. seemed like maybe for late teens more than adults.

Good story

Easy listen, great story. My only issue us the main character was a single mother in the previous book, now she's younger without any children.
