I was a little lost as I haven't read the other books in this series.
But, it was a fun read and I'll be going back and reading the others.

All the Feels

Midlife at Midnight by V. Danann is book four in the Not Too Late Series. This book is beautifully narrated by Michella Moss.The books are best read in order.
MaM is the semi-conclusion to Rita's magical story. The story picks up immediatedly where the previous book was left off. Evie is held by a mythical creature and Rita and the rest of the magical society are looking for her. Especially the Irish Fae King is determined to bring her back.
MaM is a excellent written story, with a complex storyline, full of unexpected twists and turns that kept me in suspense from start till the last page.
I love meeting charaters from the previous books, loved reading about their everyday life. A truly unputdownable story.

Wonderful story!

Rita’s daughter Evie has been taken by a crazed kelpie. All of the magical community and beyond are searching for her.
The king of the Irish Fae has a particular interest in finding Evie. The rollercoaster ride as this story develops is exciting.
I don’t want to say much more, but I love this series.
The hook at the end is a delicious teaser for the next book.
Can’t wait for the story to continue.
I listen to a lot of audiobooks and the narrator of this story was wonderful.

Victoria Dannan has done it again! As both a print and audio book this tale is puuurrrrfffeeeccctttt!

Spoiler alert- my heart broke for the Magistrate when her daughter was missing, and even more when she learned than her daughter had changed so much, but warmed by the finding of the love between the king of faery and the previously mortal girl.

I am a fan of true love and fated mates…

Beltane… this most recent episode of Fae court room drama has its share of upheaval, and reminders of how cruel people sometimes are to one another with curses and crossing boundaries… I love Rita’s decisions and punishments…

5 stars both for the story in print and the narration on audible!

I love this series. The next book is shorter. I hope it’s not the end. Great narration Michelle Moss! I couldn’t imagine any other narrator.

This series continues to absolutely delight me!!!! There is no sophomore slump anywhere in these 4 books, the quality of plotting and writing and humor continues throughout .... and this book ends with the most amazing wedding you'll ever read about!!! Highly recommend that you invest in this series!
