Indigenous story told by Indigenous voices

A great read. I always value reading historical fiction told from an Indigenous Australian perspective, and learning about the history and ongoing struggles experienced by these communities. The story was engaging and main characters well written. The strong female lead added to the story. The narration was a bit disjointed in places, but good overall, and the different characters were given their own voices. Will definitely recommend this read.
