Resumen del Editor

This audiobook contains two interviews of Baba Faqir Chand, the great sage of the Punjab, which were originally published in India in 1978. They were conducted by Professor Mark Juergensmeyer and his research assistant at that time, David Lane. Also included is a new interview with Professor Bhagat Ram Kamal, who is now the spiritual leader at Faqir Chand's ashram, Manavta Mandir. This audiobook provides an insight into Faqir's radical philosophy on spirituality.

a must read for all interested in spirituality

I found this apt description online. A legitimate Hindu sage of good breeding and lineage, Chand urges people to be cautious when they “talk” with sages or gods in their mind's eye, for these conversations merely reflect the state of one's own mind. Many -Chand continues- swear he appeared to them to work miracles when in reality he went nowhere and it was all in that person's mind. Chand also confesses that at times the guru tells people things merely because that is what they need to hear, true or otherwise. Chand also explains that he is revered as a miracle man mostly because he's a very intuitive person: his forecasts to disciples come to happen in real life.
