Reseñas de la Crítica
What did you love best about Meet Me at the Cupcake Café?
The plot of the book was not focused on the pursuit of love, even if it contained that sweet aspect as well, but on the pursuit of one's dream and ambitions. It was inspiring and motivating, also the recipes at the beginning of each chapter and the final epilogue where the writer gives baking advice was such an original touch to the novel. What other book might you compare Meet Me at the Cupcake Café to and why?
I haven't yet read another book like the Cupcake Cafe...Would you be willing to try another one of Penelope Rawlins’s performances?
I think I would and might pick up the second Cupcake Cafè book I noticed on AudibleIf you could rename Meet Me at the Cupcake Café, what would you call it?
Cupcake Romance? Nah, I prefer the original titleAny additional comments?
The reader... was talented as she was able to make many, many different voices but her tight British accent... dunno where it was from... but it was just at points unbearable. At times I even had to rewind back because I couldn't understand what the hell she was saying, especially when she was reading grandpa's parts. At one point I even thought about turning the damn thing off but stuck to the end only because the story was enjoyable.Enjoyable except when reader got under my skin
